I recently took a quiz called What Type Are You? from Pentagram. It gives you four questions. Are you Emotional or Rational? Are you Understated or Assertive? Are you Progressive or Traditional? Are you Disciplined or Relaxed? The questions are pretty broad and depending on the situation, I can be either. When you find out your typeface, it gives you a little about the history and describes some of it’s main design elements. The first time I took the quiz I was Courier. I wasn’t too excited about that. Mainly because Courier was designed by IBM and I’m very much a Mac person. So I took it again. Now I am Baskerville Italic. I’m a lot happier about that one, however, I secretly wanted the Archer Hairline. The quiz takes only a few minutes.
