A couple days ago, I learned about a new e-course called Handmade Writer. The purpose of the course is to “take a crafty approach to creative writing and use the fabric of your life to tell your own extraordinary stories.” The course has been inspired by the crafting community and hopes to “transform everyday finds into something amazing.” Handmade Writer will be led by Amy Spencer, an author, workshop leader and crafter.
Sounds pretty cool right?! I think it’s important to record the wonders that are around you whether that’s through writing, photography, etc. The nice thing about this course is it’s designed to help people become better writers as well as motivate them to find the time to write. Daily life tends to distract me from things so I generally need some sort of motivator! This e-course also uses a private online community space so feedback can be given by the instructor as well as fellow participants.
