I Write Like is a fun quiz that analyzes a summary of your writing and compares it with famous authors. It takes into account your word choice and style. I took the quiz. A few times…
My Results:
I used blog posts as my little snippets of writing and apparently I’m all over the place! At least I’m in good company, right?! Plus, I can honestly say I never got the dreaded result of Dan Brown! Not yet anyway. If you take the quiz, I’d love to hear about your results!
(Who are some of these authors? Click on the links for their biographies. J.K. Rowling, P.G. Wodehouse, David Foster Wallace, Vladimir Nabokov, Kurt Vonnegut, J.D. Salinger, and Jane Austen)

I guess I'm in good company too. I tried the test using a variety of writing samples. My first writing sample said that my style was similar to David Foster Wallace. I chose other samples from my blog, and found two additional results were produced. Apparently, I also write like Margaret Atwood and Stephanie Meyers.

Stephen King? Okay, that was a surprise!! Maybe I should try it again…
